Ways to Give, Make a Difference
We’re grateful for your interest and support!
There are many ways YOU can make a difference and help defeat brain disease!
Did you know? 1 in 6 is affected by brain disease. Your donation will help us fund vital research, and together, we can outsmart brain disease. You can make a one-time gift, or create a recurring gift to provide monthly support.
Recognize someone special with a tribute or a memorial gift. Gifts to the Foundation are a special way to recognize a break through in research, special occasion or special person. It can be a job promotion, graduation, a birthday or anniversary, or to honor the memory of a loved one.
After receiving your gift, you will get an acknowledgement card for tax purposes. If you provide us with the information, the honoree or family also receives a card in your name from the Foundation with no amount mentioned. In addition, in 2018, all tribute gifts will be recognized in our newsletter.

You may be able to leverage your generosity with a gift of stock or securities to receive additional tax benefits. To make a stock transfer, please contact the Foundation at [email protected] or call us 1-866-770-7570.
Choose a specific research project that best fits your interests and fund that project directly.
Work Place Giving
Many employers offer a workplace giving and/or matching gift option for their employees. Contact your employer directly for more details about matching gift or workplace giving programs they provide. For questions, contact Marlys Weyandt or call 612-928-6316. We currently have partnerships with the following organizations to manage workplace/matching gifts: Easy Match, Truist, YourCause, Benevity, United Way, and America’s Charities.
You can establish a Donor Advised Fund through the American Brain Foundation and fund research without the need to establish a personal foundation.
You can impact the future and leave a legacy gift that supports brain disease research to find a cure.
