Project goal: Develop a screening tool for the diagnosis of chronic migraine.
Project description: Chronic migraines affect about 1 percent to 3 percent of the population, resulting in significant disability, decreased productivity, and disruption of qualify of life. But many chronic migraine sufferers are not being diagnosed accurately. As a result, there is a critical need for easier and more accurate ways to diagnose chronic migraine to ensure people get timely treatment. The goal of this study was to develop a screening tool for the diagnosis of chronic migraine through recruitment of subjects from web surveys and then conducting in person interviews and examinations.
