Susan Schneider Williams, BFA is a fine artist, author and passionate advocate for brain health and Lewy Body Dementia awareness.
Schneider William’s paintings are in numerous private collections throughout the US and Canada and her first international show is set for 2019 at the Haynes Fine Art Gallery in London.
Schneider Williams studied design at UCLA and went on to receive her BFA in graphic design from California College of the Arts. Her fine art business developed out of a 25-year graphic design career in which she founded and ran Critical Eye Design specializing in logo and brand development, packaging design and marketing.
In 2014, when her husband Robin Williams died from an exhaustive battle with Lewy Body Dementia, Schneider Williams set out to raise awareness about this little known yet devastating brain disease. She has become a leading spokesperson for Lewy Body Dementia and appeared on Good Morning America, The View, and CBS This Morning. She moderated the 2016 Forbes Healthcare Summit panel, “Healing the Brain”, and remains committed to raising awareness for brain disease. In 2016, the American Brain Foundation honored her with their Commitment to Cures Award. She authored, “The Terrorist Inside my Husband’s Brain” editorial for Neurology, the journal of the American Academy of Neurology. Schneider Williams serves as the Vice Chair on the board of directors for the American Brain Foundation.
